Parent / Teacher Conferences
MECC holds parent/teacher conferences for all students (except Two’s) twice a year, in October and again in March. During the conferences, teachers provide information about the child’s school activities, the current projects and curriculum of the class, and social growth. This is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about each child from his/her parent, allowing teachers to smoothly bridge the home-to-school perceptions of the child, and interact with them in a more personal way.
School classes are generally closed during conference week. Prior to conferences, teachers will provide a sign-up sheet for parents to choose a convenient day and time.
New this year: Parent volunteers are providing childcare for students and siblings in the downstairs gym during conference times.
