Service Opportunities
In the spirit of our school’s mission of community development and family involvement, we ask each family to contribute a minimum of 10 hours of their time to assist the school during the year.
There are many ways to complete service hours – help with the Auction or Book Fair, attend a work party for painting or cleaning, assist in the office, organize, shop, garden, etc. Each classroom also has needs for class projects throughout the year.
For more ideas, flip through the Serivce Binder in the front office or contact the Volunteer Coordinator.

Don’t forget to track your hours in the binder as well! There is one sheet for each family to log your activities.
We realize that not every family will be able to or wish to fulfill the service requirement, so families may opt out at $20 per hour or $200.00 for the year. We hope to make this requirement easy for MECC families to complete.
